About Dan

Dan is a Co-Director at Dunbar Education, so as well as helping the schools in Beds, Bucks, and Herts to find their ideal teachers, his role is also in leading the team.

Dan has worked within Education recruitment for over 10 years and in this time has helped hundreds of teachers to find long term and permanent roles.

Dan is a big Leeds fan, although he also has a very large soft spot for Barcelona and has seen them 10 times in recent years. As well as being a football fan, Dan is also a YouTube sensation as a player, being the all-time leading goal scorer for the widely followed Hashtag United!

As a proud father of three Dan has a busy life outside of work, playing football, golf (badly), learning languages and reading. He is also proud to be the manager of his eldest son's under 7's football team.

In his own words......

What I love about recruitment is the buzz of helping someone finding a job, and likewise, finding a school a teacher is second to none.

My favourite quote is “The teacher and the taught together create the teaching"

If I was to win the lottery tomorrow, I would maybe start another business, but definitely keep working here, without, I would feel very lost!

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be listening, probably the greatest gift we have but use the least.

The best advice someone has given me is “Look after tomorrow's you"
