About the School
This is a Boys 11 - 16 comprehensive school with a mixed boys and girls sixth form. The school have over 1000 students on roll including a sixth form with over 300 students. It's history dates back to 1926 when the school opened as a grammar school.
In recent years the school has raised funds for an extensive building and refurbishment programme so that their facilities are now first class and include an astro turf pitch and their own playing fields with a pavilion, a performing arts centre, updated computer network and state of the art sixth form centre.
