Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your responsibilities will include supervising and managing classroom behavior, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months UK education-based experience
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (desirable)
- Valid safeguarding certification (desirable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Follow pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure their successful delivery
- Manage classroom behavior to create a positive learning environment
- Support students with their learning and address any questions or concerns
- Liaise with teaching staff and senior leadership as required
