Part-time Spanish Teacher (KS3 and Y10)

Hours: 12 hours per week, more hours can offered if needed

Location: Slough

Salary: Pay to scale (MPS/UPS)

Contract: Temporary, immediate start until the end of the academic year

Are you a dedicated educator looking for a fulfilling part-time opportunity? Join our Client, an independent boys school, as a Part-time Teacher for KS3 and Y10.

About the Role: As a Part-time Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Year 10. While the timetable is fixed, we offer flexibility and the opportunity for additional pay for covering across subjects. The classes you will teach have established schemes of work and resources, but you will be required to provide teaching, preparation, marking, feedback, and assist in school report writing. Don't worry if you're new to the process; we will provide support and ensure a smooth transition for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons to KS3 and Y10 students
  • Planning and preparing engaging teaching materials
  • Marking student work and providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the learning experience
  • Contributing to the overall development of the school community

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching KS3 and/or Y10 students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Passionate about education and student success
