Full-time Permanent Teacher of Design and Technology

Location: Central Buckinghamshire

Salary: MPS/UPS dependent on experience

About the Role:

Are you a passionate and innovative teacher of Design and Technology (DT) with specialisms in Resistant Materials, Electronic Products, and Engineering? Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to inspire students in creative design and practical skills? Dunbar Education is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Permanent Teacher of DT to join an Ofsted 'Outstanding' selective school located in central Buckinghamshire, starting in September.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality and engaging DT lessons, covering Resistant Materials, Electronic Products, and Graphics specialisms, to students across different year groups.
  • Foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore their creativity and develop practical skills.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that are differentiated to meet the needs of students with varying abilities, ensuring every student achieves their full potential.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them progress and succeed in their DT projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the DT curriculum and contribute to extracurricular activities and school events related to design and technology.

Requirements:

  • QTS/QTLS or working towards
  • Graduate or equivalent
  • UK secondary school teaching experience
  • Knowledge of the DT curriculum across the age range
  • Right to work in the UK
