Teaching Assistant - Autism Specialist

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of pupils with Autism? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted good school to provide effective 1:1 and group support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with ASC in their academic and social development.
  • Assist in the implementation of EHCPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one support and small group interventions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where every pupil feels valued and respected.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with ASC.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Relevant certifications or training in special education or related fields are a plus.
