About Shaynie

Shaynie joined Dunbar Education in 2020, firstly working within our recruitment team, however, has recently made the move over to the world of compliance. Prior to joining Dunbar, Shaynie had 8 years' experience in travel management, as well as experience as a Teaching Assistant in a SEN school for children with severe learning difficulties.

Outside of the office, Shaynie loves to go on holiday (aiming for 5 times per year), finding bargains in charity shops and going for long walks with her dog Bella.

Always with a bright smile, Shaynie is one of the most positive people we have in the office, and someone we are delighted to have in the team.

What I love about my role is ensuring the teachers are compliant before they begin their new roles.

My favourite quote is “No one is you, and that is your superpower"

If I was to win the lottery tomorrow, I would open my own tea room, because tea and cake solve everything.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be to fly. That way i can skip getting stuck in traffic!

The best advice someone has given me is “Better to try and not succeed, than not to try at all"
