Senior Recruitment Consultant

About Sophie

Regions you cover and roles you recruit for: Teachers and support staff across East London

Previous recruitment/work (if none then education) experience? 10 years recruitment experience, sectors I have experience in are education, healthcare, tech and internal recruitment, recruiting recruitment consultants, but mainly education with 7 years doing a busy perm/long term and daily supply desk!

What do you like (think you’ll like) about your recruitment? I really enjoy building relationships with different people, I like supporting schools and working closely them to help with solutions to their staffing issues and finding candidates their dream role or perfect school! I also love the buzz of recruitment and that its always changing and fast paced!

What do you do outside of work? (only things fit for the public to know 😉) Outside of work I like to spend time with my family, friends and my little rescue dog Mina. I like eating, wine, and fun days out! I also work closely with the rescue centre who found Mina in Macedonia, helping find owners in the UK to adopt the rescues.

Favourite quote? If you surround yourself with positive people who build you up, the sky is the limit.

In another life, I'm pretty sure I was [COMPLETE SENTENCE]. Running a beach bar somewhere tropical!

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would you do? Buy a super yacht and take all my favourite people and my dog away with me to explore!!

If you weren't so good at your job, where would you be or what would you being doing? Working at a doggy day care centre!

If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be? To be invisible - I am nosey!

Anything else you would like to tell the world?
