About Sophie

Soph has been with Dunbar since 2019, having completed a B.A. in Primary Education with QTS in Liverpool and her NQT year in a Buckinghamshire Primary school. Sophie works with Primary schools across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire to help them to find teachers and support staff.

Being a fully qualified teacher and having experienced life in the classroom, Sophie is perfectly placed to help teachers through the journey of finding a new role. Her experience on both sides of the fence means that she is an invaluable member of the Dunbar team.

Outside of work, Soph's big focus recently has been on renovating her new house, however, when she has more time on her hands she loves to play the piano and guitar.

In her own words.....

What I love about recruitment is the reward of helping teachers and support staff to find their next great role, and schools to find the right staff for them!

My favourite quote is “Feel the fear and do it anyway”

If I was to win the lottery tomorrow, I would set up a business for escape room kits for schools

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be teleportation. I'd love to be able to travel wherever I want, whenever I want.... without jetlag.

The best advice someone has given me is “You'll regret the things you don't do much more than the things you do”.
