Dunbar Education are currently working with a primary school local to Leighton Buzzard who are recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join them as soon as possible. The position is to support a child in Year 3 who started at the school in September 2021. The child displays some difficult behaviour and will need support remaining calm and continuing to learn in the classroom environment.
This is a great opportunity to join a school that has a real community feel and encourages all children to flourish in a safe and supportive environment. There is a real emphasis within the school on reflection for both staff and pupils to improve self-awareness and engagement.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting children with Special Needs.
