A large primary school in Wellingborough is looking for an Assistant Head Teacher to start from January 2022. This is a full-time position with three classroom-based teaching days a week.
This position would suit a teacher who is at a minimum of M3 level and is looking for a new challenge and progression into leadership.
The school is based in a deprived catchment area so this will be a challenging however rewarding role. There is a high percentage of pupils with challenging behaviour, SEN and EAL.
The teaching staff across the school have mixed experience. You will need to lead by example, showing forward-thinking, being able to inspire and lead a team and be willing to always go the extra mile to raise attainment and performance.
You will be paid on the Leadership pay scale between L1 and L4 depending on your experience. This is initially a 12-month fixed term contract however for the right person this will become permanent.
