50% of children say that they don't enjoy school. Here at Dunbar, we're looking to get that to zero. How can we do that? That's where you come in.
We're looking for a General Teaching Assistant, whose daily responsibilities will be to support the classroom teachers with carrying out the lessons, as well as providing extra support to children in the classroom. We would prefer if you have worked with children before or have any transferable skills.
You may be asked to provide 1:1 intervention for children with Special Educational Needs. Although we would prefer if you had experience working with children who have SEN, it is not essential. Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, ADD etc. can require resilience and patience, but will be one of the most rewarding feelings you could ever imagine.
