Early Years Practitioner

Job Description

We are working with a Nursery within Hertfordshire who is looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner to start immediately, full-time and support the children.



The Role

This setting aims to make a significant impact for individuals pursuing careers in early years education. They are looking for a team who view their role as more than just a job. The team understands the importance of listening, observing, and teaching children through play-based learning. They are a diverse and inclusive workforce of like-minded educators passionate about knowledge and child development. Applicants must be eager to learn, and the setting supports its team with growth initiatives and a rich learning environment through an apprenticeship scheme and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.



Responsibilities

  • Qualified Practitioner: Level 2 or 3.
  • Child Observation: Take responsibility for observing and monitoring the needs of your key children.
  • Creative and Educational Thinking: Provide a range of stimulating activities to support physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as part of a dynamic and fun educational team, providing support to all children in the setting.
  • Activity Facilitation: Enable children by providing appropriate levels of support and interaction.
  • Commitment to Enjoyment: Ensure that every child has a fun and enjoyable day.
  • Health and Safety: Prioritize the health, welfare, and safety of the children at all times.
