Dunbar Education is working in partnership with a primary school near Kettering that is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support.
As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a Reception child that has recently joined the school. The child has complex needs as well as attachment issues. You will be key in providing pastoral support, raising the pupil's confidence and social skills, and adapting your teaching style to ensure an inclusive learning environment.
Ideally, you will have recent experience with Read, Write, Inc phonics, up-to-date knowledge on the Early Years curriculum, and experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
A Level 2 or 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable however not essential.
