We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our Year 2 class at our client school near Houghton Regis. The successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, have a commitment to furthering the all-rounded development of children and have the ability to build a positive working relationship with staff and pupils.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their teaching skills while also taking part in a variety of learning activities to help children reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities of the Graduate Teaching Assistant include:
* Helping to plan and prepare for lessons and learning activities
* Delivering interventions to small groups of pupils
* Supervising students in class and ensuring the classroom is safe and well-maintained
* Supporting the teaching of a variety of curriculum topics
* Liaising with teachers and other staff to provide feedback
* Delivering positive behavior management and motivation
Candidates must have at least a 2:1 in an undergraduate degree and prior experience in an educational setting is desirable.
