We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Head of Chemistry, with a passion for the subject, to join a successful Science faculty at an Ofsted 'good' 11-18 mixed academy in the Chilterns, Buckinghamshire.
The ideal candidate will be a well-organised, inspirational, dynamic, and hardworking individual who can teach all 3 Sciences to GCSE and Chemistry up to A level, with a vision for learning that puts the pupils at the centre. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, engaging both staff and pupils, who is able to foster enthusiasm, resilience and rigour.
You will join a successful, well-resourced curriculum area, with a dedicated lab. The students are friendly and motivated, and staff are supportive, creative and dynamic. The school also offers a two-week October half-term and free access to an onsite gym.
This post is full-time and permanent and offers MPS/UPS, plus London Fringe and TLR 2.
Candidates must hold QTS or equivalent and have the right to work in the UK.
