HR Operations Manager

Job Description

DUTIES

* Manage the HR function, inspiring innovation, ownership, and a passion for providing a high-end employee experience and consulting service.

* Build/manage day-to-day HR operations, including activities such as employee contracts, managing recruitment, and on-boarding, induction, probation, exit, termination, etc.

* Responsibility for all internal staff processes ensuring complete confidentiality. Working with internal recruitment to seamlessly onboard new people.

* Develop and optimize processes, policies, and procedures that make it easy for people to use.

* Act as the contact person for employees on a wide range of questions related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits. * Responsible for employee operations (e.g., visas, accommodation, travel to client sites, medical insurance, training).

* Responsible for the delivery of our Professional/Personal Development Program

* Work in conjunction with the Finance Department on expenses, bonuses, reconciliations, and other cross-functional duties such as training.

* Work in conjunction with HR Manager, HR Advisor, Pension and Payroll Lead and Cluster Leads to ensure all function/operational needs are met consistently

* Ensure monthly payroll files are accurate and provided to the payroll team on time. * Improve communications to enhance employee engagement

* Work with the HR Director and Executive to provide accurate reporting and ensure continuous improvement.

Who are we looking for?

* 4+ years' experience in an HR department

* CIPD Level 7 qualification or Postgraduate in HR equivalent

* Proven experience in managing/supervising a team

* Excellent UK employment law knowledge

* Excellent written, reporting, and systems skills

* Worked with a geographically dispersed workforce

* Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint Supporting the School

* To fully implement all school procedures and policies.

* To participate in staff training days and external courses as may be required by the needs of the post and as identified by the Head of School/Headteacher.

This newly created position reports directly to the HR Director and is critical in helping
deliver a highly efficient operations function.
