Key Stage 1 Teacher
Location: Northampton
Role Overview :
We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Class Teachers to join our team starting in September. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with Key Stage 1 pupils in a full-time position, typically with 30 pupils in the class, catering to mixed abilities, including 1 SEN pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). These positions offer opportunities for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues to foster positive relationships and partnerships.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- 6 months Experience working with Key Stage 1 or pupils in education in the UK .
- Child Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Follow lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Previous experience teaching in KS1 is highly desirable.
- Adaptability and the ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff.
