Are you passionate about supporting the learning and development of students in Key Stage 2? Dunbar Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Northamptonshire.
Role: KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Northamptonshire
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging and interactive lessons that meet the needs of Key Stage 2 students.
- Provide individual and group support to students, assisting with their learning activities and monitoring progress.
- Support the development of literacy, numeracy, and other key skills through targeted interventions and guided practice.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional growth of students.
- Work closely with the class teacher and other staff members to ensure effective classroom management and student engagement.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in supporting Key Stage 2 students.
- Good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
