KS1 SEN TA

Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Do you have experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Dunbar Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Wolverhampton seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from May half term.

The Role:

  • Supporting KS1 pupils, with a strong focus on those with SEN

  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored support

  • Assisting with the implementation of EHCPs and behaviour plans

  • Creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment

  • Initially a temporary role with the opportunity to go permanent in September

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children in KS1, particularly with SEN

  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach

  • Confident supporting children 1:1 and in small groups

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A proactive team player, committed to pupil progress and wellbeing
