Maths Teacher with Head of Year 7

We are seeking an Maths Teacher with the additional responbsility of Head of Year 7 for our partner school in Harlow.
You will be responsible for:-
- To work in partnership with other year group teachers to plan, deliver and review an engaging curriculum.
- To deliver engaging, interactive lessons and utilise different teaching and learning styles in order to inspire learning in pupils.
- To support the wider curriculum activities of the department and to foster a culture of respect, excellence, endeavour and support for learning within the year group.
- To contribute to and attend school based extra-curricular activities.
- To foster an ethos of teamwork within the year group.
- To manage pastoral and academic monitoring, intervention and behaviour management within the year group.
- To collaborate and support department and wider school priorities.
The successful applicant will have:
- A passion for teaching Food Technology and the ability to inspire students;
- PGCE/QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- The knowledge and qualifications necessary to teach Food Technology up to GCSE level;
- Strong classroom management skills;
- The capacity to be flexible, proactive and innovative in their approach.
