We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Nurse Practitioner to join a warm and welcoming team at a busy and vibrant nursery.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years old.
  • Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and experiences to promote children's development and learning.
  • Supporting children with personal care, such as feeding, changing, and toilet training.
  • Building positive relationships with children and their families and providing regular feedback on their progress.
  • Maintaining accurate records of children's development and achievements and sharing this information with colleagues and parents.
  • Ensuring the nursery is clean, tidy, and well-organised, and complying with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Attending team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements:

  • A Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare and Education, or equivalent
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • A sound knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and education for young children.
  • A current DBS check and relevant references.
