A Milton Keynes Primary School that Dunbar Education works closely with is looking to recruit a pastoral assistant as soon as possible.
The role will involve supporting the school's pastoral team and ensuring the effective delivery of the school's safeguarding policy.
You will provide pastoral care and advice to children, families and staff, addressing the mental and physical welfare needs of the children in your care. You will monitor student behaviour and address any issues as appropriate. You will also help with individual and group behaviour management, providing mediation and negotiation to help resolve differences and manage incidents.
You must be able to use your initiative and demonstrate effective communication and team working skills. You will be organised and confident with excellent behaviour management skills and have the ability to develop relationships with staff and children.
The salary will be in the region of £80 - £95 per day, depending on experience.
