Dunbar Education is recruiting for a Reception Teacher to join a primary school in Borehamwood. This full-time, term-time position focuses on delivering straightforward, effective teaching to Reception pupils in a supportive school environment.
Overview of the Role:
- Teach the Reception class, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Plan and deliver purposeful lessons that focus on key learning outcomes.
- Use assessments to track pupil progress and adapt teaching approaches as necessary.
- Work with parents, carers, and staff to provide clear communication on pupil progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour to create a productive learning environment.
What You Need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS.
- A strong grasp of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to apply it in a focused, no-frills way.
- Confidence in managing the classroom and ensuring pupils stay on track.
- A practical, efficient approach to teaching, with flexibility to adapt to different learning needs.
