SEN Support Assistant

Are you a patient, experienced SEN Support Assistant, looking to take your next step? Do you have experience with ASD and/or complex needs?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Wellingborough on a temp-perm basis, where you will be able to help and support children with additional needs.

As an SEN Support Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting teachers and the children on a day-to-day basis
  • Monitoring and managing classroom activities
  • Facilitating communication between school and home
  • Taking on responsibilities for supporting social and behavioural issues.

To be successful you must have previous experience in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) or complex needs. An ability to stay calm under pressure, excellent communication and organisation skills, plus a positive, compassionate attitude, is also essential.
