We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as SEN Support staff within primary schools in Watford and the surrounding areas.
We have long-term positions available for full-time roles, providing you with an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt and differentiate lesson plans and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and interventions.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support are beneficial but not required.
