SEN Support Staff

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as SEN Support staff within primary schools in Watford and the surrounding areas.

We have long-term positions available for full-time roles, providing you with an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt and differentiate lesson plans and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and interventions.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support are beneficial but not required.
