Dunbar Education are currently working with a Special School in Hemel Hempstead who support pupils aged 3 to 19 yrs. We are currently helping them recruit an enthusiastic and energetic SEN Teacher to work with their fantastic young people. This is a permanent position working in a mixed Y2/Y3 class - both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered.

This is a great opportunity to join a special school that has a real community feel and encourages all children to flourish in a safe and supportive environment. There are numerous opportunities provided to develop your own skills through on-going training and you will become part of a supportive 'Teaching and Learning' team within a class setting.

Many pupils have additional complex needs, including autistic spectrum disorders, epilepsy, physical and sensory impairments. Some pupils require regular medical intervention.

The success candidate will have QTS and experience within a Primary or EYFS setting. Previous experience supporting young people with special needs is highly desirable.
