Dunbar Education are currently working with an Ofsted 'Good' SEN school, who are seeking a SEN Teacher who is able to teach with the below learning difficulties. The specialist school educates children with significant disabilities up to the age of 19 years.
Many children at the School have other needs as well as:
- Significant learning difficulties and disabilities
- communication difficulties
- physical disabilities
- Additional medical and healthcare needs, including long-term ventilation or life-threatening or life-limiting conditions.
- Emotional and mental health
To be considered for this post you will be a confident SEN practitioner, and although previous experience working with students with similar needs would be preferred, it is not essential. The appointed candidate will have UK QTS.
- Must have UK QTS
- Degree Level Qualification
- Be confident in teaching the above pathways
- Good behaviour management skills
