Having experience working in care, you will be able to effectively support pupils within a Special Educational Needs School as a Teaching Assistant. Needs vary from learning difficulties, challenging behaviour, social, emotional mental health and physical disabilities.

As a Teaching Assistant in a Special Educational Needs school, you will work with small groups of children across all age groups to manage their sensory needs, provide personal care when needed, moving and handling support if required, and deliver access to each child's individual education and healthcare plan.
