SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in Special Educational Needs?

Are you confident in raising attainment and improving pupils' confidence and social skills?

Dunbar Education is currently seeking teaching assistants to support vulnerable pupils with special educational needs and challenging behavior.

You will be confident in building rapport and overcoming learning barriers to allow pupils to achieve their full potential. The majority of your time will be working 1:1 either within the classroom or a designated learning area.

As a successful teaching assistant, you will have up-to-date knowledge on the UK primary curriculum across all key stages, confidence in managing triggers and de-escalating behavior.

A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or SEN qualification is desirable however not essential.
