We are seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in Northampton. The successful candidate will provide 1-1 and general support to students in a primary school setting.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is experienced in supporting children with special educational needs.
- Is creative and able to use various approaches to support individual needs.
- Has excellent communication skills and an empathetic approach.
- Is confident working in a school environment with both teachers and children.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1-1 and general support to children with special educational needs in a primary school.
- Delivering and promoting learning and engagement.
- Working with teachers and other staff members to ensure best possible outcomes for all students.
- Developing strategies to manage challenging behaviour.
