SEN Teaching Assistant - Kettering
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or Nursery Support Assistant seeking a fulfilling role in Kettering?
We are looking for dedicated individuals to provide 1:1 support to a child in Reception who requires Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN) support and help with personal care and detachment from parents.

Requirements:
- Experience working as a UK Nursery Assistant or SEN TA with 1:1 support, especially in EYFS.
- Knowledge of SLCN support and early years education.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (non-negotiable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child who is not yet "school ready," focusing on improving speech and communication through Phonics (using RWI/PECS).
- Support the child in early years' play-based learning activities, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Assist with personal care as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers and professionals to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the child's development.
Location: This position is based in Kettering, allowing you to contribute to the local community by supporting young learners on their educational journey.
