About the Role:
As a Teacher of Computer Science, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. Your role will involve creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity and proficiency in computer science, programming, and digital literacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Computer Science for Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Develop innovative teaching materials and resources to enhance student learning.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Computer Science curriculum and departmental practices.
- Engage in extracurricular activities related to Computer Science, such as clubs or workshops.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and current industry trends.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A genuine enthusiasm for technology and education.
