We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher of Girls' PE to join a vibrant secondary school in High Wycombe. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and dedicated individual to inspire and lead girls in a range of physical activities and sports, fostering their development and passion for fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons to girls at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Develop and promote extra-curricular sports activities and teams
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and development
- Uphold the school's high standards for safeguarding and student welfare
- Collaborate with the PE department to ensure consistency and quality across all physical education programmes
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in Physical Education (PE) with experience teaching girls' PE
- Strong understanding of the UK PE curriculum at secondary level
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
- Commitment to extracurricular activities and school sports events
