A primary school in Wellingborough is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is to start asap or from January 2022 depending on availability.
As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will be joining a Year 4 class to provide general help and support to the class teacher and pupils. This is a class of 30 pupils with mixed academic abilities.
As well as providing general support, you will be working 1:1 and with small groups of pupils. You will play an essential role in engaging pupils with learning and raising attainment. You will also be confident in de-escalating behaviour.

Ideally, you will hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification however this is not essential.
