A primary school in Corby is looking for a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience on a full-time basis and to start as soon as possible. For the right teaching assistant, this will transfer to a temporary to permanent contract.
The pupil you will be supporting is in year 3 and has low-functioning Autism. You will be supporting either in an individual learning area or within the classroom.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will build a strong rapport with the pupil, adapt to their triggers and routines, raise attainment and provide inclusive learning. You will also need to possess strong behaviour management.
The school is Ofsted graded good. You will be joining the class with an experienced teacher and senior leadership team. There are also excellent local transport links and on-site parking available.
