Teaching Assistant - Pastoral Support
A primary school based in Northampton is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide pastoral support to a pupil on a 1:1 basis. This is a full-time position for the remainder of the academic year.
As a pastoral Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to raise attainment, improve pupils' confidence and engagement in learning as well as providing emotional support.
You will have strong behaviour management, be able to build rapport, manage triggers and have positive de-escalation techniques.
Ideally, you will have a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification however this is not essential.
