Teaching Assistant - Speech and Language Support
Do you have experience supporting pupils with speech development?
A primary school in Northampton is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant who can help develop pupils' speech and language communication. This is predominantly working with Early Years as well as KS1 pupils. The position is full-time for at least the remainder of the academic year.
You will be working 1:1 and with small groups using phonics and speech and language development programmes. Ideally, you will have experience using PECs however this is not essential.
As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will be fully supported by the class teacher and SENCo. The majority of pupils you will be supporting will be on an EHCP and planning will be put in place.
