Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our primary school in Milton Keynes as an Unqualified Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a genuine interest in education and working with children, but who may not yet hold a formal teaching qualification. You will work closely with qualified teachers, support staff, and the senior leadership team to deliver high-quality learning experiences and help our pupils achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the delivery of engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Working with small groups or individual pupils to provide additional support where needed
  • Supporting the planning and assessment of lessons, under the guidance of a qualified teacher
  • Helping to promote the school's ethos of inclusivity and respect
  • Participating in school-wide activities, such as assemblies, extracurricular events, and trips
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

About You:
While no formal teaching qualification is required, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children in a formal or informal setting (e.g. teaching assistant, youth work, tutoring)
  • Is passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of young learners
  • Is a strong communicator with good organisational skills
  • Is patient, caring, and able to adapt to the varying needs of pupils
  • Is enthusiastic and willing to develop professionally, including pursuing teacher training if desired
  • Holds a minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
