Job Title: Year 4 Class Teacher
Location: Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire
Start Date: January 2024
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking a passionate and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Bishop's Stortford starting in January 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher looking to make a real impact on the development and learning of children within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and creativity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the well-being and academic success of all pupils.
  • Take part in school-wide activities, events, and meetings, contributing to the positive school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment processes.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, working well with both colleagues and parents.
