Dunbar Education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Class Teacher on behalf of our client, a SEMH Nurture School located in Chalfont St Giles. This specialised school provides tailored education for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for their learning and development.
About the Role:
Teaching All Subjects: The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering lessons across the curriculum to a small class of maximum 8 children, with assistance from specialists as needed.
Supportive Environment: Our client's school fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere among staff, ensuring that every student receives the care and guidance they require to thrive.
Flexibility: This position is open to candidates with either primary or secondary teaching backgrounds, provided they possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Full-time or Part-time: The school offers flexibility in terms of working hours, with opportunities for 0.6, 0.8, or full-time positions to suit the candidate's preferences.
Immediate Availability: The position is immediately available to cover absence, with the potential for a permanent contract later on based on performance and fit.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Previous experience working with SEMH students or in special educational needs settings is advantageous.
