We are currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and work within a Primary school in Bedfrodshire. As part of Dunbar Education, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) while supporting various educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and assist in devising effective learning strategies.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere that promotes the social and academic growth of the students.
- Maintain open communication with school staff, parents, and other professionals involved in the student's education.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Understanding of various learning styles and methods to support diverse needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in Special Education or related fields are advantageous.
