A fantastic, dynamic and inclusive primary school based in Beaconsfield is dedicated to supporting all pupils, including those with additional needs. Our Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) unit provides specialized support for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning difficulties, ensuring they receive the tailored education they deserve.

The Role: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced ARP Teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized education to pupils within the ARP unit, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of pupils within the ARP.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other professionals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of each pupil.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure effective support and learning.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive approach to pupil development.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching pupils with special educational needs.
  • Experience working within an ARP or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of strategies and interventions for supporting pupils with ASD and other learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
