We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ASD Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional support to children with ASD in primary schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized support to primary school students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Conduct assessments and observations to identify students' strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students with ASD.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a primary school setting or similar setting.
  • Excellent understanding of ASD and knowledge of evidence-based interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and deliver specialized support to meet individual student needs.
