Job Responsibilities:
As a Challenging Behaviour Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:
Supporting Individuals: Provide one-on-one support to individuals with challenging behaviors, helping them develop essential life skills and coping mechanisms.
Behaviour Management: Implement behavior management strategies and interventions to promote positive change and reduce challenging behaviors.
Personal Care: Assist with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring the comfort and well-being of the individuals you support.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of individual progress and incidents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
Communication: Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including therapists, caregivers, and other professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Safety: Prioritize the safety and welfare of individuals under your care, adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies.
Qualifications:
