Challenging Behaviour - Teaching Assistant

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a positive impact in the lives of others? We are seeking a Challenging Behaviour Assistant to join our team in Milton Keynes on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with challenging behaviors, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and techniques under the guidance of senior staff or behavior analysts.
  • Promote positive interactions and communication with clients to help them achieve their goals and maximize their potential.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and caregivers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document and report incidents, progress, and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills in working with challenging behaviors.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and obtain necessary certifications.

Salary and Benefits:
