Position: Class Teacher with Phase Lead Responsibilities
Location: Northamptonshire
Pay: £28,000- £38,810 + TLR payments

Job Description: As a Class Teacher with Phase Lead responsibilities, you will primarily be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to a designated class within the primary school. Additionally, you will take on a leadership role as a Phase Lead, overseeing and coordinating the curriculum delivery and progress within a specific phase (EYFS, KS1, or KS2). Your role will involve supporting and mentoring colleagues, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring the effective implementation of the school's vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, tailored to the needs of your designated class.
- Lead a specific phase (EYFS, KS1, or KS2) and collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum strategies and improvement initiatives.
- Support and mentor colleagues, providing guidance and assistance to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely feedback and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the school through active participation in staff meetings, training, and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, recognised in the UK.
- Proven experience as a successful class teacher, preferably with experience across multiple phases.
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues and students.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and carers.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to share best practices.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo the process.
