Position: Complex Needs SEN Teaching Assistant
Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with complex needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for SEN children.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a tailored and engaging curriculum.
  • Monitor and record progress, ensuring accurate and timely feedback to SENco

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN children is essential.
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum and experience in adapting teaching methods for diverse learning needs.
  • Hold a valid DBS check on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
