Teacher of Computer Science (Temporary Contract)

Location: Buckingham, North Buckinghamshire
Contract Type: Temporary (September 2024 to December 2024)
Salary: MPS/UPS (to scale) for qualified teachers; £120-£140 per day for unqualified teachers

Dunbar Education is representing a highly regarded non-selective secondary school in Buckingham, seeking a dedicated Teacher of Computer Science for a temporary position from September 2024 to December 2024.   • Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Provide effective lesson cover within the Computer Science department as required.
  • Support students' academic progress and personal development through mentoring and pastoral care.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities related to Computer Science to enrich students' learning experiences.


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent for teaching roles.
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Computer Science.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented school environment.
