- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Position Overview:
An Ofsted Good secondary school and sixth form in Northampton is seeking a dedicated Cover Manager to join their team. This role involves managing daily cover arrangements for absent staff and ensuring the smooth running of the school's operations. The position is initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and manage cover for absent teaching staff across the school, ensuring minimal disruption to learning.
- Liaise with supply agencies and internal staff to coordinate cover requirements.
- Maintain and update cover records and communicate effectively with staff about daily cover arrangements.
- Provide administrative support as required, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
- Assist with general office duties to support the smooth running of the school.
Requirements:
- Administrative experience, preferably in a school environment.
- A valid enhanced DBS check (on the update service) is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
